Inside are three zippered pockets, two small and one large, to keep all of your essentials organized. The Alchemy Shoulder Bag is just the right size to become your everyday bag. Run your errands, go for a night out, or just pack a good book and a flask of tea.

The Alchemy pattern features an abstract Zapotec diamond design in shades of rich chocolate brown, dusty mauve, cream, eggplant, and beige. This earthy color palette will easily transition from season to season, perfect for a tote lovingly handmade to last.

Many of the traditional designs found on MZ Made bags are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.

Handmade by master Zapotec artisans Antonia + Tomás in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Antonia learned the art from her father, and has been involved in the process her whole life. Her favorite part of the process is choosing the colors and Zapotec patterns for a particular bag. She produces some of MZ Made's most loved designs.

Your handmade item is made with premium wool, which naturally repels dirt, debris, and moisture. It requires less laundering than other fibers! Never use a washer or dryer.

For light cleaning, we suggest a cashmere brush. They are readily available online and in most craft and yarn stores.

For more intensive cleaning, we recommend eco-friendly dry cleaning.
